1914 Lee Richards Annular Monoplane.
1911 Kitchen annular biplane. Later revised by Lee and Richards
The Lee Richards/Kitchen Annular Biplane appeared in Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines in the blunderbuss duel scene (actually a non-flying replica on wires). I can't seem to find a good picture of the scene, but here's a model someone built:
Of a similar design in some respects was the Walton Edwards Rhomboidal: Holy cow. Looks like something Leonardo da Vinci would design. That's a new one for me. Thanks. If you somehow haven't watched Those Magnificent Men, stop what you're doing and watch it *NAOW*. I saw it on TV probably 40 years ago, but not since. Yes, I need to watch it again. My last name is Nemeth and I have never heard of this. But I'll take credit for it anyway.
